We met Tom at Flute Quest 3 years ago and learned that he is a very talented carver and flute maker. This year Tom followed his heart and became a full time artist. Tom created these wonderful practice flutes with a solid wood mouthpiece for comfort and durability. They feature a two-part construction so that the chambers pull apart for easy drying. The tuning is excellent. The tone is very pleasant and solid. We are pleased to add Tom to our flute maker gallery. We just started offering these practice flutes but have had nothing but high praises for his work at the flute shows we've presented them at. This is the perfect flute for travel, hiking, or teaching and a great way to start your flute adventure.
